An aluminium degassing machine is used in the aluminium casting process to remove dissolved gases, particularly hydrogen, from molten aluminium. During the melting process, gases can become trapped in the metal, leading to defects like porosity in the final cast product. The degassing machine uses inert gases, such as nitrogen or argon, which are bubbled through the molten aluminium to help release these unwanted gases. Some machines use mechanical rotors or impellers to promote gas dispersion, while others rely on chemical additives to absorb the gases.
